Highlights

The headline this week: Community Alignment (D1) is done! Its contract milestone (DX.01) asked for two things: a public map of the development ecosystem, and a repository of key projects and entities willing to accommodate our roadmap. Both are now in hand, delivered on Jul 30 ahead of the Jul 31 deadline.

The missing half was the map, and it landed in force (D1): a full ecosystem map (graph, table, and analysis views) went live and is now integrated into the site, backed by a curated dataset of Cardano tooling with identified gaps and overlaps. We kept feeding it through the week, adding the Epora permission-based wallet, Masumi, Sokosumi, and x402 Cardano, and enriching the AdaStat entry.

Alongside the map, the signatory list kept climbing: Yura Lazaryev, Sharan Konerira, Federico Weill, Ziyang Liu, Paulo Bressan and several others signed on, and AdaStat opened a PR to join. A public map plus a growing, on-the-record coalition is exactly the baseline DX.01 was written to establish — the one that grounds the Community Collaboration bounties and the Reactive workstream.

On cardano-init (D3), the work was about making the tooling trustworthy under real conditions. We merged the dependency-installer recipe gate: a CI that actually installs each declared dependency in a native environment and checks its binaries land on PATH, so a renamed package or moved install script gets caught before a user hits it. Standing that gate up flushed out real bugs, which we fixed in the same pass: broken aikup, process-compose, and sbt recipes corrected, and the verify harness hardened so it fails only on genuine problems, not on quirks of its own runner.

contracts-library (D5) stayed heads-down on feature branches: 17 commits turning last month's cataloged explorations into ready-to-audit contract code.

Cardano Foundation's Developer Portal (D4) saw another 28 commits of momentum on the onboarding flow.

What's next: with D1 closed, focus shifts to D3's Specifications + POC milestone (DX.02, due Aug 31) and keeping the ecosystem map current as the reactive baseline it's meant to be.
